The valley warriors kicked off their campaign with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Rines SS WFC on October 15, 2023, at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso. Phiona Nabulime, Hadijah Babirye, and Agnes Nabukenya showcased their prowess, setting the tone for an exceptional season.
As the league unfolded, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC continued to impress. Mary Kabaculezi’s 69th-minute strike secured a 1-0 home win against UCU Lady Cardinals FC on matchday two.

Undeterred, the valley warriors delivered a statement victory on matchday four, defeating defending champions Kampala Queens 2-0 at MTN Omondi Stadium in Lugogo. Agnes Nabukenya’s clinical strikes in the 25th and 44th minutes highlighted the team’s dominance.
The momentum didn’t wane as Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC overwhelmed newly promoted Wakiso Hill WFC with a resounding 5-0 victory on January 6, 2024. Hadijah Nandago, Yudaya Nakayenze (brace), and Agnes Nabukenya (brace) showcased an attacking prowess that left spectators in awe.
In a thrilling encounter against Makerere University WFC on matchday six, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC fought to a 2-2 draw. Yudaya Nakayenze’s early goals were met with a spirited comeback from Makerere, exemplified by Sharon Namatovu and Daphine Nalubowa’s strikes in the 83rd and 89th minutes.
The team continued to exhibit resilience, securing a goalless draw against Asubo Ladies FC on matchday seven. They swiftly returned to their winning ways on matchday eight, with a convincing 3-0 triumph over Lady Doves FC. Samalie Nakachwa, Mary Kabaculezi, and Hadijah Nandago contributed to the commanding victory.
Closing the first round in style, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC sealed their unbeaten status with a 3-0 win against Uganda Martyrs WFC. Jolly Kobusingye, Agnes Nabukenya, and Hadijah Babirye netted in the 18th, 80th, and 83rd minutes, respectively, solidifying their position as the league’s standout team.
As the sole undefeated contender in the FUFA Women Super League, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC currently occupies the pinnacle of the league table, boasting an impressive tally of 21 points derived from nine impeccably played games. This positions them two points clear of the second-placed defending champions, Kampala Queens.
In the midst of the competition, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC midfielder turned striker Agnes Nabukenya, stands atop the scoring charts with an impressive tally of six goals. In hot pursuit are formidable challengers: Jackline Adong from She Maroons FC, boasting five goals, Sharon Namatovu, the forward from Makerere University WFC, with four goals, and the equally prolific Yudaya Nakayenze, who joined the Valley Warriors in the latter part of the first round and has already secured four goals.
