Earlier today, Uganda U20 Women’s National Team Head Coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi named the final squad of 20 players that will travel to Mozambique ahead of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.
The Queen Cranes will take on Mozambique at the first preliminary round with the first leg slated for Saturday, 7th October at Campo da ABB Matola Stadium while the return leg set to be played at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on 13th October 2023.
The squad named consists of three goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders and five forwards and the contingent will depart Uganda on Thursday morning (2:45am) aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
Meanwhile, FUFA Executive Committee Member Rogers Byamukama will travel with the team as the Leader of Delegation.
