- Ntinda United 0-1 Impala Hill FC
Kampala Regional league third division Impala Hill FC started their quest for promotion to the FUFA Big League with a narrow victory away from home against Ntinda United in their opening match of the 2021/2022 Kampala regional league campaign on Sunday afternoon at Kigoowa, Ntinda.
The first half began with Impala Hill FC looking to break the hosts rearguard with some probing play from Kalule Andrew, Omara Walter and Pariyo Ash Calvin but the hosts defence held firm.

The match quickly settled into a game of cat and mouse between the two teams with Impala Hill trying to squeeze Ntinda United up the pitch, probing for opportunities, but the hosts were more than happy to dig in with gritted teeth, aiming to hurt the Kampala Kings on the counterattack.
Kalule Andrew scored the only goal of the match 19 minutes into the first half when he headed home past Ntinda United’s shot-stopper off a Martin Nsubuga well taken corner kick.
Impala Hill FC went into half time a goal ahead and came out in the second half hoping to get the all-important second goal which would have made the game safe, but faced strong opposition from the home team.
The sides shared spells of possession in what was a rather polite start to the second half, neither team willing to risk too much with Ntinda United looking for an equaliser while the visitors were looking for their second goal.
The game drew to a close with Impala Hill FC unable to add to their lead but with Ntinda United offering very little in the way of attack.

Coached by Allan Kabonge with the assistance of former Uganda Cranes Internationals Derrick Walulya and Hamza Muwonge, Impala Hill FC will return in action on 5th January 2022 when they welcome Katwe United FC to Mulago Playground opposite Taso in Kampala.
