Ugandan midfielder Hakim Mutebi has completed a major step in his professional career after signing a three-year contract with Tunisian giants Club Sportif Sfaxien (CS Sfaxien). The move marks a new chapter for the talented midfielder, who is set to continue his football journey in one of Africa’s most competitive leagues.
Mutebi, who featured for Bosnian and Herzegovinian side BSK Borac Banja during the 2025/26 season, was officially unveiled by CS Sfaxien on Wednesday following the completion of his transfer.
The Ugandan joins the Tunisian outfit after gaining valuable experience in European football, where he continued to develop his skills and strengthen his profile on the international stage.
CS Sfaxien confirmed Mutebi’s arrival through a statement shared on the club’s official social media platforms, expressing excitement about adding the Ugandan midfielder to their squad.

the club announced, as they introduced their latest acquisition to supporters.
The unveiling ceremony saw Mutebi presented alongside two other new signings, Moumen Al-Rahmani and Ghaith Shgaier. Al-Rahmani joins CS Sfaxien from ES Zarzis, while Shgaier arrives from fellow Tunisian side Club Africain, with the trio expected to strengthen the squad as the club prepares for upcoming domestic and continental challenges.
For Mutebi, the move to CS Sfaxien offers an exciting opportunity to compete at a higher level and contribute to one of Tunisia’s most respected football institutions. The club, which boasts a rich history and strong ambitions, will be hoping that the Ugandan midfielder’s creativity, composure, and technical qualities will add value to their midfield department.
