Kawempe Dominates as Finance Trust Bank Honors October’s Best | Sbk Sports Mail

Uganda’s three relay victories on Friday reinforced the team’s depth, but Kenya’s narrow triumph in the boys’ 15-and-over event demonstrated the fine margins separating the leading teams. Tanzania’s success in freestyle and butterfly races further underlined the strength of the visiting swimmers.

The result takes both teams to seven points from four matches, with Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC remaining fourth and She Corporate FC fifth in the standings.

With both teams on six points and level on goal difference, Friday’s encounter could be decided by a single goal, an individual contribution or a mistake under pressure. Victory would provide a valuable boost to either side’s early-season ambitions and could lift the winner temporarily to the summit, pending the outcomes of Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and St Noa Girls Zana FC’s respective Matchday Four fixtures.

The victory takes KCCA to eight points from four matches and sends them to the top of the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League standings, at least temporarily, as they await the remaining Match Day 4 fixtures.

Facing the prospect of falling 3-0 behind in the best-of-five series, Seeta produced a determined late fightback to secure their first win of the finals. Kampala University had entered Game Three with victories of 48-43 and 53-47 in the opening two games, hoping to move closer to the championship, but Seeta refused to let the series slip away.
