

Kampala Queens and She Corporate FC ensured that the 2022 FUFA Women Super League title race will go to the final day of the season as both title chasers won their respective match day 17 matches.
The table leaders (She Corporate FC ) registered a 1-0 away victory over a relegation threatened Tooro Queens side thanks to Whisper Alomo halftime strike in a match that was heavily disrupted by the heavy downpour at Buhinga stadium in Fort Portal.
On the other hand,second placed Kampala Queens registered a 1-0 hard fought victory over a resilient Olila High School thanks to Resty Nanziri’s 75th minute strike in an eventful match at IUIU Kabojja.
She Corporate and Kampala Queens have been battling it out neck to neck for this season’s super league glory and their respective match day 17 victories set up a title decider when the two sides meet on Friday in their last game of the season at Mubs Arena in Nakawa.
Should Kampala Queens beat She Corporate FC on the final day, they will be confirmed as champions, while any dropped points will see She Corporate clinch this season’s title.

Elsewhere, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC registered a 2-0 home victory over defending Champions Lady Doves FC thanks to Hadijah Nandago and Esther Nangendo’s strikes while Rines SS WFC and UCU Lady Cardinals played out a one all draw.
Meanwhile, She Maroons were officially relegated from the FUFA Women Super League to the FUFA Women Elite league after a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Uganda Martyrs WFC.
Latifah Nakasi (3 goals), Anitah Namata and Nakanjako Immaculate scored for Uganda Martyrs while Hailat Babirye scored for She She Maroons.
