

It’s every football player’s dream to represent their countries no matter the level and that’s not different from USA based youthful right back Shemen Unegbu.
Born on 24th October 2005, the youthful right back who has Ugandan roots from his mother has admitted that he wants to play for Uganda one day from any youthful side and the Cranes in future.
“My football career kicked off while in Uganda at the age of five and I was playing for KISU and won a trophy with the U9 side. I have Uganda Roots from my mother who both with my father possess Ugandan passports and as a player my dream is to play for Uganda.”

The roving right back who is a big admirer of Uganda Cranes defender Savio Kabugo studied at Kampala International School of Uganda owned by Tycoon Sudir Ruparelia before he moved to UK at Cleremount Football Academy between 2018-2020 where he scooped the Academy player of the year for his outstanding display.
In September 2020, he joined Brookhouse Football Academy until June 2021 and captained the U15 and U16 teams.
He went on to make regular first team appearances at the Elite level having improved much on his physical stamina and skill through dedicated daily training.
In September 2021, he crossed to USA side Houston Dynamo based in Texas where he is todate.
He has since made first team appearances at MLS Next J League thus attracting a number of clubs to chase for his signature.
