His departure for Standard Liège subsequently opened the door to a lengthy career abroad, where he continued to develop and compete against some of the best players and teams in different footballing environments.

Following his time with Standard Liège, the forward also featured for Belgian side Mouscron, Azerbaijan’s FK Sabail, Croatian outfit HNK Gorica, Turkish clubs Konyaspor and Rizespor, and Ukrainian side PFC Lviv, gaining valuable experience along the way.

Miya’s most recent club was Greek second-tier side GS Ilioupolis, where he featured during the 2026 calendar year.
