
With the group stages having drawn to a close in Mbarara , the focus and attention will swiftly turn to the round of 16 stage at the 2023 Fresh Dairy USSSA national girls football Championship.
Defending champions St. Noa Girls Zana , Lamenia, Sacred Heart SS Gulu, Mukono Parents High School, Rines SS Wakiso, Amus College, Olila High School – Soroti, Nyabubare SS, Boni Consili Vocational School, Gadaffi Integrated Academy, St. Malico SS, Bugishu High School, Ryakasinga CHE, Shema High School, Shuuku Vocational School and record champions Kawempe Muslim SS are the sixteen standing schools.
All the Round of 16 matches of the 2023 Fresh Dairy USSSA national girls football championship in Mbarara will be played on today (Friday, 12th May 2023) with the first four games kicking off at 10:00am.
Defending champions St. Noa Girls Zana, led by Sylvia Kabene , will take on Nyabubare Secondary School at Kakyeka stadium (10:00am) while Lamenia will face Boni Consili Vocational School at Ntare II playground (10:00am)
Meanwhile, Gulu based Sacred Heart SS will take on Gaddafi Integrated Academy while Mukono Parents High School will also be in action against St. Malico Secondary School at 10:00am to complete the morning fixtures.
In the afternoon (3:00pm), record winners and favorites Kawempe Muslim SS and Wakiso based Rines SS will take on Shuuku Vocational School and Bugishu High School at Kakyeka and Ntare stadium respectively.
Elsewhere, Amus College School and Ryakasinga CHE will compete for the ticket to the quarter-finals, and Soroti based Olila High School will play against Sheema High School at this stage.
