Reigning Champions of the Fresh Diary Secondary School Football Girls Championship, St. Noa Girls SS – Zzana kick-started their title defence with an emphatic 5-0 group A victory over Masaka Secondary School during the opening day of this year’s edition of the competition hosted by Ntare School in Mbarara.

Meanwhile , record champions and last year’s runners up Kawempe Muslim Secondary School smiled to a 4-0 win against Panyandoli SS in Group H while 2018 Champions Gadafi Integrated Academy registered a 3-0 victory over Bishop Comboni College.

Elsewhere, Wakiso based Rines Secondary School piped Shammah High School 4-1 in Group E while Amus College School out-muscled Kangole High school 8-1 in group F.
