
The 2022/23 FUFA Women Super League campaign commenced on Saturday, 10th September, 2022 and the opening weekend didn’t disappoint.
Newly promoted Makerere University WFC held reigning champions She Corporate to a thrilling 1-1 draw, Olila High School WFC and Uganda Martyrs registered home victories over Lady Doves (1-0) and Rines SS WFC (2-0) respectively whilst title contenders Kampala Queens registered a 5-0 victory over newcomers Asubo Gafford Ladies FC.
Meanwhile, action returns this weekend with four exciting FUFA Women Super League fixtures on the card at at four different venues , with all matches kicking off at 10:00am after the FUFA made changes in kick off time for the FUFA Women Super League games ahead of this weekend’s action.

The biggest fixture on matchday two pits defending champions She Corporate FC against Kampala Queens in a top of the table clash at MUBS Arena on Sunday , while Asubo Gafford Ladies FC will be looking to pull off a miracle when they host new look Uganda Martyrs at Quality Primary School Kisaasi on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Masindi based Lady Doves will be hoping to get their first win of the season when they host Makerere University WFC and Rines SS WFC will be looking to make a huge improvement on their poor showing versus Uganda Martyrs when they welcome UCU Lady Cardinals at Kabaka Kyabaggu on Saturday.
