FIFA U-20 Women World Cup Qualifiers:
- 1st Leg: Uganda Vs South Africa (Friday, 3rd December 2021)
- 2nd Leg: South Africa Vs Uganda (16th – 17th December 2021)
The Uganda U20 Women’s National football team preparing to take on South Africa in the third round of the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers has been boosted by the timely arrival of two more players.
Kampala Queens’ Lillian Mutuuzo and foreign based striker Juliet Nalukenge are the latest players to join the U20 camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel ahead of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Qualification matches against South Africa.

‘I am so happy to have joined the rest of the U-20 teammates. I look forward working hard in training sessions and all the practice matches as we look forward the match against South Africa. Also, I will listen attentively to the coaches’ Mutuuzo revealed to fufa.co.ug .

The arrival of the aforementioned duo is good news for the Uganda U-20 Women’s National football team and head coach Ayub Khalifah believes their arrival is a huge boost to the team ahead of the much anticipated first leg at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
Meanwhile,the Uganda U20 Women’s National football team that used the CECAFA Women’s U-20 Championship as a precursor for the up-coming matches under the stewardship of the head coach Ayub Khalifah Kiyingi has stepped up preparation and played their fourth practice match today with UCU Lady Cardinals -Mukono.
Fauzia Najjemba and Juliet Nalukenge scored a brace each while Aisha Nantongo was also on the score sheet as the U20 team registered a 5-0 victory over UCU Lady Cardinals.

The team will conduct a Recovery Training session tomorrow (Sunday 28.11.2021) at Lugogo (3:00pm) as they get ready for the first leg that will be played on 3rd December at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.
