NEC welcome Lugazi to MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, in a meeting between two sides that both started the season with victories, while Entebbe UPPC entertain UPDF at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo, looking to make another statement after their impressive opening-day triumph over Vipers.

With only one round of matches played, the table is still taking shape, but the opening results have already provided early indications of the competitiveness expected this season. NEC and Entebbe UPPC emerged among the biggest winners on Matchday One, while Lugazi also collected maximum points, giving Tuesday’s fixtures an added dimension as teams attempt to establish themselves among the early pace-setters and avoid allowing their opening results to become isolated moments.

NEC, Lugazi Meet in Early Battle of Unbeaten Sides

The victory at Kitende provided Entebbe with an enormous confidence boost because it came against one of the country’s most established clubs and was achieved away from home.
