Uganda Premier League giants Express FC have officially opened a new chapter in their celebrated history after announcing the appointment of Becky Cynthia Nakimera as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately.
The decision marks a major administrative shift for the Red Eagles, who are seeking to strengthen their internal structures, modernise their operations, and build a more sustainable football institution capable of competing successfully in the modern era.
The announcement, made through an official statement released on the club’s social media platforms, highlights Express FC’s commitment to embracing professional management practices beyond the traditional football setup.
As one of Uganda’s oldest and most successful clubs, the Red Eagles are now focused on aligning their rich football heritage with contemporary approaches in governance, commercial development, and organisational efficiency.
Nakimera arrives at Express FC with a significant responsibility of guiding the club through a period of transformation. Her appointment places her at the centre of implementing the club’s strategic vision, improving day-to-day operations, and ensuring that every department works towards a common goal of achieving long-term success.
