In a momentous occasion on 30th January 2024 at FUFA House Mengo, FIFA Referees were honored with their 2024 badges, setting the stage for the upcoming second round of the local football season calendar.

The event was graced by the esteemed FUFA President, Hon Moses Magogo, who emphasized the paramount importance of the 17 Laws of the Game.Addressing the referees, President Magogo underscored the critical role they play in maintaining the integrity of the beautiful game emphasizing the need for impartiality and adherence to the established rules.

‘If you are a referee, the most important thing is the 17 laws of the game. Interprete and apply them fairly by not favouring any team.’

A total of 24 referees from Eleven-aside football, Futsal and Beach Soccer received their FIFA Badges and equipment for the 2024 Calendar yeat

Male Centre Referees: Ali Sabila Chelangat, Mashood Ssali, William Oloya, Lucky Razaake Kasalirwe and George Olemu

Male Assistant Referees: Ronald Katenya,Hakim Mulindwa, Emmanuel Okudra, Timothy Gumisiriza Karusigarira, Brianson Musisi and Ashiraf Katerega

Futsal Referees: Brian Emmy Nsubuga and Isaac Sengendo

Beach Soccer Referees: Ivan Kintu Bayige, Muhammad Ssenteza, Kennedy Kawagga Bazirio and Joel Chote Munyendoh.

Female Centre Referees: Shamirah Nabadda, Habiba Naigaga and Diana Murungi
