In a jaw-dropping twist on the transfer turf, Vipers SC, the reigning champs of the Uganda Premier League, have just dropped the bombshell by introducing midfielder Moses Waiswa Ndhondhi into their squad.
Fresh out of the release cage at KCCA FC just a week ago, Waiswa has now inked a two-year gig with the Venoms, making a fierce comeback to the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende after being away for a whopping five years.
After a stint in South Africa’s Supersport United for three seasons post his departure from Vipers in the 2018/19 season, Waiswa made a homecoming pitstop at KCCA FC, where he kicked it for the past one and a half seasons.
The 2018 FUFA Male Player of the Year, who previously left Vipers as a Uganda Premier League champion in the 2017/18 season, slammed in three goals across 31 league matches during his time with KCCA.
Now, Vipers’ midfield roster is loaded with heavy hitters like Siraje Ssentamu, Karim Watambala, Bright Anukani, Allan Okello, Abubakar Lawal, Nzau Lutumba, David Bagoole, Abubakali Walusimbi, Marvin Joseph Youngman, and Frank Katongole.
