

Kayindu Senior Secondary school and the rest of the qualified schools found out who they’ll be facing in the group stage of the 2022 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) National Girls football championship after Saturday’s draw at the head office of Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association.
The Luweero based school, home of FUFA Women Elite league club Luweero Giant Queens is one of the 56 schools expected to take part in this year’s girls’ football championship and were on Saturday afternoon drawn in group D ahead of the 2022 USSSA National Girls football championship that will be held in Gulu.

The Edward Lugolobi coached side will tussle it out with Mukono based Mukono Bishops,Bigusu High school, Hope Secondary School Biira,Irundu Central, Nakigumba Parents and one late coming school (late comer 6) which is expected to join them after fulfilling all the necessary requirements.
Meanwhile, record Champions Kawempe Muslim Senior Secondary School were drawn in Group A with Highway Secondary School, Kibingo Girls, Gods Care High, Nyondo Secondary School , Kihihi Secondary School, Soroti based Olila High School and will also be joined by late comer three (3).

Elsewhere, Light Secondary Vocational School Bulenga were drawn in Group B alongside Sacred Heart , Boni Council, Sheema Girls, Royal College Namugongo, Ngora High school and Acaba Girls
Gaddafi Integrated were pitted against Wakiso based Rines Secondary School ,Kapchorwa Secondary School, Kisozi Seed Secondary school, St Francis SSS Bussunju, Rapha Secondary School and Late comer 8, in Group C.
Mukono High school will take on Wakiso Hill School,Lake Albert SDA, Divine Hope Secondary School,Bukulula Girls School ,Kichwamba Peas H/S and Late comer 5 in Group E.
Uganda Martyrs High school Lubaga were placed in Group F alongside Dr Otuke Secondary School, Amus College School,Panyandoli Secondary School, St Mary’s Assupta, St Charles Lwanga and Late comer 7.
Wakiso District champions Taggy High School, Buhobe Secondary School, Ishaka Victory, Mubende Army SS, Seat of Wisdom, Alere Secondary school, Highway SS Sironko and Late comer 2 were pitted in Group G.
Giants St. Noa Girls Secondary School will be confident of progression from Group H where they’ll come up against Jinja secondary school ,Arengesiep secondary school, Giant College, Ruhindi Secondary school,Namutumba Central and Late Comer 4.
