In a bid to achieve their Vision of being the number one professional football services provider by 2040,the management of Jean Sseninde United has taken yet another bold step forward with the appointment of Lira City Mayor Sam Atul as the club’s first brand ambassador.

The club has revealed that Sam Atul’s intention to promote inclusive and sustainable development aligns with their values and aim of creating the best global football opportunities and services for their clients both on and off the field and believe that his appointment will play a crucial part in forming and implementing policies that could influence government support and the provision of resources.

Meanwhile, Sam Atul who is the current manager of Unity FM Lira, an ardent football fan and one of the prominent figures in Lira city with a focus on promoting transparency and accountability in Lira city expressed his readiness to work with Jean Sseninde United moments after the confirmation of his appointment.

“I support women’s football, and I am delighted to be associated with Jean Sseninde United because it is working to promote women football, especially in the Lango Sub-region. My team and I will work together to support the organization. For the past few years, we have seen more women getting involved in football, and credit to women and men who are involved in women football development.”

On the other hand,Jean Sseninde, a former Ugandan international and founder of Jean Sseninde United expressed her delight after the confirmation of Atul’s appointment and expressed their willingness as a club to work with influential figures in communities in order to inspire and push for women’s equity

“We want to work with influential figures in communities to inspire and push for women’s equity. Jean Sseninde United is determined to work with Politicians, religious leaders, musicians, and former players to ensure women have role models to look up to and individuals who intentionally advocate and make key decisions in the development of women’s football.”

A delighted Jean Sseninde said.
